The Highland Community School District is taking bids for a 2009 Blue Bird, 65-passenger bus.

The bus has a 6.7 Cummins engine, automatic transmission, and just under 121,000 miles. It has recently undergone a 27A state bus inspection, and will be sold as is.

Bids will be taken until Thursday, August 10 and will be opened at 2 p.m. that day. The Highland School Board plans to approve the bid at a meeting on Monday, August 14. The Highland Board of Directors do reserve the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities, as shall be deemed in the best interest of the district.
