The Sigourney Savages concluded the season with a record of 27-5, tied for their most wins in a season since 2015. With a tie for a fifth-place finish in the state in Class 1A.  The Savages dropped their first game and won their second. They wrapped up their softball season by knocking off Southeast Warren 2-0 in a Class 1A state consolation game Wednesday in Fort Dodge. The team will have four girls graduating this year, Ryleigh VanDenHeuvel, Rain Barthelman, Macy Fisch and, Courtney Hemsley.
