Columbus Junction has been an annual summer stop for those looking for family fun at the Louisa County Fair. The event, in its 131st year, continues this week through Saturday. Their theme this year is “Proud of the Past, Ready for the Future”. During the week there will be over three hundred youth from Louisa County that will be put on stage to show the community what they have learned, achieved, and accomplished. The Fair week is packed full of events from fireworks, Impact Pro Wrestling, Farmers Olympics, stock car races, church services, the Clover Kids livestock show, TEEN Dance, and Demo Derby are just a few of the events scheduled. The Louisa County Fair will have no gate admission. As part of the KCII Big Red Radio Summer Town Tour, we’ll be broadcasting live from Columbus Junction Wednesday and Thursday afternoon from 10 am to 2 pm each day. The one to count on to take you where the action is AM and FM KCII.
