Tomorrow is the third installment of the Free Summer Outdoor Concert Series from the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., guests can head to 200 North Main Street and enjoy a performance from David Huckfelt.
Huckfelt, a native Iowan, is famous for his work with The Pines, but now brings his solo artistry back to his home state. He plays a mix of indie bluegrass and Americana music that will be showcased Thursday night.
Executive Director for the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, Lindsay Bauer, encourages guests of all ages to enjoy a night of fun and music. “ Bring your own lawn chair. We’ll have a beer garden out front so you can snag a beverage if you’d like. Also, there are tons of great restaurants in downtown Fairfield within walking distance of the party. So grab some takeout, bring your lawn chair and your dancing shoes and all the people you like and be ready for a good time.”
Following Thursday’s concert, the final performance of the Summer Outdoor Concert Series will be held on August 10.
*UPDATE* Due to the weather, the concert has been moved indoors at the Convention Center. It will still be held tonight at 7:30 p.m.
