The Washington Sheriff’s Office received a report that 39-year-old Lacy Debrower of Ladora was being held in the Iowa County Jail with Washington warrants. Charges against Debrower are possession of a controlled substance, 3rd or subsequent offense, assault on a peace officer, assault on a peace officer causing bodily injury, interference with official acts causing bodily injury, and driving while barred. Both assault on a peace officer causing bodily injury and possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense are Class D Felonies. Debrower’s bond is set at $10,000, and a detainer has been placed with the Iowa City Police Department. Debrower also has warrants in Johnson County with a bond of $7,500.
