The Washington City Council approved three mayoral appointments at their meeting on Tuesday. Mayor Pro Tem Millie Youngquist announces the appointments. “We have several Mayoral appointments listed here. Charla Howard to the Hotel/Motel Tax Fund Committee, Charles Halverson for Forestry Commission, and Gary Murphy to the Library Board.” Charla Howard is filling a term that ends in June of 2024. Charles Halvorson is being reappointed, and the term will end in June of 2026, and Gary Murphy is being reappointed also, with his term running from July 2022 to June of 2028.
