On June 26-28, Kirkwood Regional Center continued with a summer camp for middle school-aged students. Camp Exploration, a 3-day camp experience that provides local students the opportunity to explore career possibilities in digital arts, auto mechanics, welding, and fashion design, was a success. The Washington Community School District (WCSD) Foundation provided funding for scholarships for Washington Middle School students to attend Camp Exploration. This was the second year for Kirkwood Camp Exploration.
