On Friday, at 1 pm, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call that a vehicle had rolled over with two subjects out of the vehicle, but a child was still inside. Noemi Garcia of Washington was traveling east in the 2800 block of 220th Avenue near Ainsworth. k.  The vehicle slipped off onto the south shoulder. There was an approximate 6-inch drop from the roadway to the shoulder. The driver attempted to pull back onto the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side. A female minor was transported to Washington County ER with the complaint of a possible back injury. The Washington County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Ainsworth Fire Department and QRS, and Washington Fire Department. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
