Anyone traveling on Iowa 78 in Henry County is advised of a road construction project that is underway.

A section of Iowa 78 between U.S. 218 and the junction of Iowa 78 and Henry County Road H-18 is closed while crews resurface the roadway. During this road construction, access to properties will be maintained, however other travelers will need to follow a marked detour route, using Iowa 78, U.S. 218, Henry County Road H-28 (170th Street), and Oasis Avenue. This road work is expected to continue until early September.
