The Washington City Council approved two special event requests at their meeting on Tuesday. St. James representative Jeremy Vittetoe explains the event, “Hello, I’m Jeremy Vittetoe here again for St James Fall Fest; I’m not sure how a year went by already. So our event will be the same as last year, a dinner and auction”  The other event request was from the Washington Chamber of Commerce. This will be the fifth Choctoberfest to take place in Downtown Washington. It was initially planned for October 12th but was asked to be rescheduled due to other downtown events.
