The Washington County Board of Supervisors made an appointment to the Washington County Civil Service Commission at their meeting on Tuesday. Greg Goodman was part of the Washington Police Department for 34 years before retiring in 2019.  The civil service commission is a government agency that is constituted by legislature to regulate the employment and working conditions of civil servants, oversee hiring and promotions, and promote the values of the public service.
