As the Kalona Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing for the new fiscal year, voting is now open for five positions within its board.

Chamber member can vote for five of the six candidates, which include Shauna McKnight, Kris Burns, Karma Brokaw, Ethel Bontrager, Tara Martin, and Megan Hardman. Voters can complete this process online, or by ballot at the Chamber Office. Hard copies of the ballot are available this week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Votes must be submitted by Friday, August 25. The next Chamber meeting will be this Friday as well, while board officers will be voted on in-person by the board at the September 15 meeting at 8 a.m. To cast your vote online, click here.
