U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley voted in late July to approve the National Defense Package while adding some provisions to the annual bill. One bill that the Senator added to was the Intelligence Authorization Act, here are his thoughts:  The Intelligence Authorization Act was included in the Senate-passed National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024. The IAA authorizes funding, provides legal authorities, and enhances congressional oversight for the U.S. Intelligence Community and passed the Committee unanimously in June.
