On August 26th, the Washington County 4-H Livestock Judging teams participated in the Iowa 4-H State Livestock Judging Contest. The 4th overall Sr. Team out of 26 was Charlotte Sieren, Brynn Younge, Peighton Ford and Garrett Greiner. They were 3 points from earning a trip to a national contest. There were three senior team members in the top 15 overall, Charlotte Sieren placed 8th, Peighton Ford placed 12th, and Garrett Greiner placed 15th. The senior team ended up 2nd in Sheep/Goats and 2nd in Swine, and Ella Greiner placed 9th overall Individual in the junior division. The Iowa 4-H State Livestock Judging Contest took place in Ames.
