On Tuesday the Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported they had a subject in custody wanted out of Washington County. Thirty-two year old Sadie Smith of Iowa City has a warrant for violation of probation on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance, a Class B Felony. Smith was originally arrested and charged in January of 2021 for being in possession with intent to sell methamphetamine when 14.78 grams was found in the subject’s vehicle at Riverside Casino. Bond has been set at $10,000 and a hold was placed with the Linn County Jail.  KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
