Earlier this year, the idea of a four-day school week started to gain momentum in the Winfield-Mt. Union Community School District.

Since then, a committee was created to help the district make an informed decision to the board concerning the 2024-25 school calendar. Through multiple meetings and conversations with various stakeholders, drafts of a school calendar and schedule have been developed. These items are available in the district office and will also be offered at various events this fall.

In addition to keeping the community informed, the district also welcomes feedback or any questions about a potential four-day school week. These questions will be answered by the board during the September meeting, with answers published on the school website. Anyone who has questions they would like answered on the matter can scan the QR code on the WMU Wolves Facebook page or click here
