The Iowa Healthiest State Annual Walk will be held this year on Wednesday, October 4. Leading up to the event, the organization is holding a School Mascot Challenge, which includes Winfield-Mt. Union. 

The Wolves, along with 31 other Iowa schools were the first to register a walk, and are now competing head-to-head in the online competition. Each school with the most votes at the end of the week move on to the next round, with the winner announced on the day of the walk. The school that is crowned the winner in October will be awarded $1,000.
