A Mt. Pleasant man was arrested and charged last week after attempting to meet and engage in sexual activity with a minor.
A criminal complaint filed with the Henry County Court reveals that 27-year-old Kyle Willey communicated with an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old female. While in contact, Willey asked the officer to participate in several specific sex acts and arranged to meet in a park across the street from his house.
It was then that Willey was arrested by the Mt. Pleasant Police Department and charged with enticement of a minor under 16 for sexual purposes, a class D felony. Willey has a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 18 and an arraignment on October 9.
