The Sigourney-Keota Cobras continue to exert their dominance on the football field by rolling past Cardinal 67-0 Friday night on the road. SK already led 35-0 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.
Fresh off his huge performance for the Cobras in the win over Mid-Prairie, senior Kale Clarahan delivered another big game for Sigourney-Keota in Week Four, rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns on just 11 carries.
Senior Cole Kindred scored three TDs on the ground and also caught a 60-yard scoring pass from quarterback Sawyer Stout, finishing with 135 total yards from scrimmage. Stout had 50 yards and a touchdown on six rushing attempts, while freshman Ike Molyneux had six carries for 69 yards and a TD in the second half.
The SK defense forced four takeaways and allowed just 148 yards to Cardinal. Junior Jace Chalupa led the Cobras with five-and-a-half tackles on their way to a third straight win since losing the season opener. Sigourney-Keota will next head out on the road this Friday to face Pleasantville.
