The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team welcomes Durant to Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman for Senior Night with thoughts of a celebration on their minds. The Hawks come into the contest with a 13-3 overall record. They are ranked No. 10 in Class 3A in the latest poll from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. Mid-Prairie was a four set winner Thursday at No. 12 Wilton. On the year, the Golden Hawks have 751 digs, seventh in 3A, 519 kills, seventh in 3A, 499 assists, sixth in 3A, 93 blocks, 117 aces, seventh in 3A, and an 85% serve efficiency. Individual leaders include Jovi Evans with 272 assists and 148 kills, Dakota Mitchell with 241 digs, fourth in 3A, Callie Huber with 36 blocks and Harper Pacha with 23 aces.

Durant is 7-5 this season. The Wildcats were swept at Tipton Thursday. This year they have 458 digs, 275 kills, 242 assists, 134 blocks, fifth in 2A, 57 aces and a 91% serve efficiency. Individual  leaders include 219 assists for Kennedy Jehle, 145 digs for Avery Paper, Isabelle DeLong with 81 kills, Allison Toft with 40 blocks and Layla Streeter with 16 aces. Mid-Prairie has won four straight against the Wildcats.

The Golden Hawks will honor seniors Paige Safly, Reese Good and Ava Pence during the evening. Action starts tonight at 7:15p.m. at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman.
