Winfield-Mt. Union is celebrating Homecoming this week, and the festivities were kicked off on Sunday with Boom Night.

The evening featured powder puff volleyball and football, a performance by the WMU Dance Team, and the Homecoming King and Queen Coronation.

The 2023 Winfield-Mt. Union Homecoming Queen is Audrie Gipple, while this year’s King is Gabe Hemsworth. Other members of the court included Queen candidates Tessa Huston, Afton Wilkerson, Mariana Hagmeier, and Maggie Hutton, King candidates Cole Milks, Cam Buffington, Abram Edwards, and Eli Miller, Prince Cohen Nelling, and Princess Addysin Little.

Homecoming activities continue this week with spirit days, the Homecoming Parade Wednesday night at 6:30, a Pep Assembly Friday afternoon at 2:30, and the football game with English Valleys at 7. WMU’s Homecoming Dance follows the game Friday night from 9-11.
