The Fairfield Economic Development Association (Grow Fairfield) has begun its search for a new Executive Director following the news that Joshua Laraby is moving on from the role. Laraby, who served as Executive Director for the last seven years, recently accepted a position as Economic Development Director for the City of Johnston. 

Highlights of Laraby’s tenure with Grow Fairfield include creating over 220 jobs and more than 180 new housing units, the development of a 30,000 square foot shell building, and a nationally recognized child care initiative. He is the eighth Executive Director in the Association’s 45-year history. 

With Laraby’s final day scheduled for October 5, the Board of Directors will function as the primary point of contact for the Association until a successor is hired. Grow Fairfield is a non-profit organization, committed to fostering sustainable economic growth, innovation, and community development in the greater Fairfield and Jefferson County area.
