Local runners converge on the campus of Hillcrest Academy Monday for the final home meet of the season for the Ravens. Joining Hillcrest will be area schools Lone Tree and Sigourney. The Ravens were last in action Thursday at the Ashton Cross Country Course on the campus of the University of Iowa. Marie Yoder led the way with a 25th place finish in a new personal best time of 20:22. The Raven boys were 11th of 12 schools led by Micah Gerber in 72nd. Yoder is the lone ranked runner in the Raven lineup, checking in at No. 28 in Class 1A in the latest rankings issued by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

Lone Tree ran at Washington on Thursday and will be in Kalona tonight. The Lady Lions top finish came from Vivian Zaruba in 29th, the boys were paced by Brock Nebergal in 40th.

The Sigourney Savages will also travel to Kalona. The Savages ran a week ago at the Creek Classic in Iowa City. Troy Klett led the boys in 14th, Addison Yates had a team best 19th place finish for the girls.

Joining these three area schools tonight are the No. 17 in Class 1A Danville boys and their girls, English Valleys, Fairfield, HLV, Iowa Valley, Louisa-Muscatine, the No. 11 in Class 2A Mediapolis boys and their girls, Mount Pleasant, North Mahaska, the No. 1 in Class 3A Pella girls and their No. 2 boys, Wapello and West Liberty. There are 15 total ranked runners in the field. Action starts at 4p.m. with middle school races and continues into the evening at Hillcrest Academy.
