The Highland Huskies traveled to Packwood Friday to face Pekin on their Homecoming. The home Panthers celebrated the night with a 56-0 victory. The Panthers rolled up 522 total yards, including 440 on the ground. Pekin QB Will Adam had 275 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns, four on the ground, to lead the way. Henry Adam added two rushing scores and Sven Dahlstrom 160 rushing yards and a score. The Panthers picked off three Highland passes.
The win moves Pekin to 4-2 on the year, while the Huskies fall to 0-6. Highland will continue the search for their first win this week when they travel to Letts to battle fellow winless Louisa-Muscatine in our KCII Area Game of the Week.
