The Washington City Council met Tuesday in regular session. On the agenda were three special event requests. Here is Mayor Pro Tem Millie Youngquist giving more details. “JT’s Sips for Choctoberfest, they are going to set up outside Purposefully You, and this is a Thursday. Then we have another event for the 14th for the same business at the Shop Hop event and again they’re going to be set up by Purposefully You. This is a Saturday I believe is the date of that Shop Hop.”  The St James Color Dash to be held on October 6th was the first request. The special event requests were approved unanimously by the council.
