The Washington County Board of Supervisors held a work session on the Orchard Hill Complex and other building renovation projects after their Tuesday meeting. With multiple department heads in attendance, the discussion centered around where different departments were going to be moved to and the budget. Supervisor Jack Seward Jr. made this remark in regard to the budget: “Just so it’s out in the, as long as we are talking price, just as long as we can get it out there in the minds of people. I would really like to have all of this Orchard Hill and Courthouse remodeling stuff down to 3.5 million. I’m just putting it out there: whatever it is that we end up doing, I would love to see it at 3.5. Now, if that means taking off a couple of the things that are the “hey, it would be nice.” This is just one of many more work sessions to be held, as department heads and supervisors all have more questions to be answered.
