With upcoming elections, the City of Washington would like to remind residents of the guidelines for yard signs. Any existing sign that advertises, promotes, or advocates for an event that occurs on a specific date shall be removed within 14 days after said specific event.  No billboard, signboard, or similar advertising signs shall be located at an intersection so as to obstruct vision, hearing, pedestrian, or vehicular safety or the use and enjoyment of the adjoining property.
