The Washington County Board of Supervisors reviewed bids for the 140th Street grading project at their Tuesday meeting. Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius gives more details on the project and reads the winning bid. “This is the grading project on 140th St East of Vine Avenue, which we have talked about for a while; this is primarily a safety improvement project. With regards to the big hill, as you come down Vine, trying to improve some stuff there, we’ve moved all that we need to do some more grading work and work back east a little ways, so. We had four bids.  The board voted unanimously to accept the bid from DeLong Construction in Washington for $165,960.80, the project has a predetermined 25-day period of completion.
