The Washington Public Library will be hosting Author Lisa Santiago on Monday for a program called Alzheimer’s: Quick Tips for Caregivers. Santiago has been teaching Psychology for over a decade, worked in an adult psychiatric unit, and has been a facilitator and speaker at state and national conferences. In the last years of her grandmother’s life, she was her sole caregiver. Today, Santiago is dedicated to sharing her tips on helping caregivers remain mentally and physically healthy. The presentation will begin at 6 pm in the Nicola Stoufer meeting room.
