The Washington County Extension Office and 4-H & Youth Committee are hosting the first “Let’s TACO-bout 4-H” night for 4-H members and parents/guardians. Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 16, from 6 pm-7:30 pm in the basement of Dallmeyer Hall on the fairgrounds. This meeting is designed to provide information and hands-on activities to newer members about what the 4-H year looks like, various project areas, goal setting, online resources, 4-H opportunities, upcoming events, and much more. It is open to all 4-H’ers but will be most beneficial to those who have been 4-H three years or less. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend. Register to attend by November 12 at the link with this news story at KCIIradio.com. For more information on how to become a member, volunteer, or become a partner to Washington County 4-H, contact the Washington County Extension Office at 319-653-4811.
