The numbers don’t lie, it’s been a phenomenal season for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk football team. They are ranked in the top 10 of Class 2A in 20 different team and individual statistical categories.

On offense, Mid-Prairie has 21 team passing touchdowns, fourth in 2A. Their 113 total completions are sixth most. The Hawks have thrown for 1,531 yards as a group, eighth highest, with a team 61% completion percentage, ninth highest. Their 40 total team touchdowns are 10th most, as are their 3,111 total yards and 130 team quarterback rating. The Golden Hawk defense has 18 sacks, sixth most in 2A.

Individually, sophomore running back Hudson Ehrenfelt has 1,813 all-purpose yards, the third highest total in 2A. His 189 carries are sixth most, his 1,178 rush yards are also sixth most and his 12 rushing touchdowns are the 10th highest total in 2A.

Senior wideout Dylan Henry  has seven touchdown grabs this year, fourth most in Class 2A.

Junior quarterback Brady Weber has thrown for 20 passing touchdowns, third highest total in Class 2A. His 24 total touchdowns this year are seventh most in the state. Weber’s 109 total completions are also seventh in 2A. Weber’s 62% completion percentage and his 1,462 yards through the air are both eighth best in 2A.

On defense, sophomore linebacker Kaden Kos is the best in the state with 105 total tackles. His five sacks are sixth in 2A.

The Hawks are 5-4 this year. They are back in action Friday when they travel to Monroe to meet the No. 10 ranked PCM Mustangs in the second round of the Class 2A playoffs.
