The Sigourney Savages saw their 2023 volleyball season come to a close with a straight-sets defeat at BCLUW last night in the Class 1A Region 5 semifinals in Conrad. Sigourney lost the first set 25-8 and could never recover, losing each of the final two frames by a score of 25-15.

The season comes to an end for the Savages with a record of 17-9. Sigourney will be losing six seniors next year, including Amiya Smallwood, Emma Hammes, Ava Fineran, Chelsey Pfannebecker, Darby Mitchell and Lana Thomas.
