Republican Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy made a stop in Washington on Friday. “It’s a war between those of us in this country who believe that all men are created equal. Endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, among these life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Those of us who believe that you get ahead in this country not on the color of your skin, but on the content of your character and your contributions. Those of us who believe in free speech and open debate over censorship. Those of us who believe that these ideals, form the backbone of the greatest nation known to mankind in human history. That even though we are an imperfect nation, that we are founded on the pursuit of a more perfect union. The pursuit of liberty, equality, and justice for all.”  In February of this year, Ramaswamy declared his candidacy for the Republican Party nomination in the 2024 United States presidential election.
