On Thursday, November 16, 720 Iowa students will perform in the 37th Annual OPUS Honor Choir Festival. Three of those students are representing Mid-Prairie Middle School.

Eighth-graders Sutton Bailey and Fiona McClellen, along with sixth-grader Ruby Greiner were nominated by their director, Luetta Ropp, and join the more than 2,400 students who were nominated statewide. Bailey will perform in the 7/8 Bass Clef Honor Choir, McClellen is singing in the 7/8 Treble Clef Honor Choir, while Greiner will participate with the 5/6 Treble Clef Honor Choir.

The 37th Annual OPUS Honor Choir Festival begins at 4 p.m. on November 16 at the CY Stephens Auditorium in Ames.
