This past week, Washington County Riverboat Foundation Board Members, City Officials, Chamber Members, and the public attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new playground equipment at the Washington Wellness Park. The Wellness Park Playground is open to the public and is ADA-compliant with rubber safe-fall surface. This project received a $150,000 grant during the 2022 grant cycle with WCRF, a $100,000 match from the city, $30,000 from the hotel/motel tax committee, $50,000 from the local Kiwanis clubs, and various other monetary contributions from area businesses and organizations.
