The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution for the public easement from Keith Bloomer, Joseph Bloomer, John Bloomer, and Diana Bloomer at the Tuesday meeting. Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius gives more details, “This is over on 190th St. just west of the Louisa County line. There’s a fourteen-foot multi plate there that’s been there roughly fifty years, give or take. That is shot, and we’ve been limping by for about the last ten to fifteen years. We are going to replace that with a light structure; we’re going to put in a little bit longer one, because the one there now is short to the road. So we needed some additional right of way from the Bloomers to have room to work basically from where the waterway is at now.” The cost to the county for this easement is $2,321.76.
