Women Managing Swine is a new four-week workshop series being offered by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and ISU Extension and Outreach Washington County in November for women who either work in the swine industry or are interested in learning more about swine production. Sessions will be held at various locations in Washington County on Mondays from 6-9 p.m., with a light meal served at 5:30 p.m., beginning on Nov. 6 and continuing on Nov. 13, 20 and 27. A new topic will be covered each week. There is a $50 registration fee.
