The Washington Public Library will be hosting its Authorfest tomorrow. KCII spoke with Washington Public Library Director Cary Siegfried about the event, “Well Authorfest, this is our second annual Authorfest, we did it the first week in November last year as well and it was such a success that we decided to repeat it. We have almost a whole new group of authors who are going to come and talk to us. We have one returning author. And then we also invited all of our authors from last year back to participate in our author room.”  The Washington AuthorFest was created to highlight local and Iowa authors. The day begins at 9 am and will conclude at 3 pm.
