fall-back

Clocks are moving back an hour this Sunday for the end of Daylight Saving Time. On the first Sunday of November, clocks roll back one hour at 2 a.m. for most of the U.S. including Iowa. This means the sun will now rise earlier in the morning and set earlier in the evening. Residents are encouraged to set their clocks back before heading to bed Saturday night. While you’re changing clocks around the home it’s a recommended time to check or change your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors twice annually.
