Hillcrest Academy is getting in on the fall play action with their production of Our Miss Brooks, this Saturday and Sunday in Celebration Hall.

The play takes place in a typical school, as senior cast member Naomi Danker, who plays Miss Brooks in the performance, explains the plot to KCII. “Miss Brooks and the coach are fighting over who gets gym space to do the play and there’s just a bunch of wacky hi-jinks, a couple love triangles, and it’s a whole lot of fun.”

Saturday, November 4 will see two performances, with one at 2 p.m. and another at 7 p.m. The final show is Sunday, November 5 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for students and adults 65 or older. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling Hillcrest Academy at 319-656-2073.
