On Friday, December 8, the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Dairy Team will host its annual Dairy Goat Management Seminar in Kalona. The program will be held at the Historical Village Visitors Center at 715 D Avenue.

This year’s focus is on milk quality and functional animal types. Several high-level presenters will be on hand, covering such topics as using antibiotics without compromising milk safety, mastitis identification and management, putting together a dairy goat financial analysis, and improving milk quality.
