Veterans Day is a United States federal holiday observed annually on November 11, honoring and remembering all those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. In observance of Veterans Day, many local offices and businesses will be closed. The Washington Public Library will be closed on November 10th and 11th in observance,  and the Post Office will be closed on November 11th as well as banking institutions.  Main Street Washington is hosting their annual series of SNOW Events, Showcasing Nights of Washington, including a special Veteran’s Day event, on Saturday, November 11th.
