With Veterans Day celebrated this Saturday, Rotary of Wellman is taking the month of November to collect items and donations for the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City.

Continuing until November 30, requested items for the drive include Shampoo, deodorant, plain colored t-shirts, and socks. Items should be new or unused, unexpired, and individually packaged or factory sealed. Any liquids must also be travel size, or three ounces or less.

Last year, this event collected more than 300 personal care items for Veterans. Anyone wishing to donate this year can utilize boxes located at Wellman City Hall, the Goodwin Center, Federation Bank, Hills Bank, and the Wellman Telephone Office.
