Two athletes and one coach from programs in the KCII listening area took part in Saturday night’s Southeast Iowa Senior Volleyball Classic at Bud McLearn Court at Mediapolis High School

On the floor, WACO’s Emma Wagler and Winfield-Mt. Union’s Audrie Gipple were in action. The two players on opposite sides of the Warriors and Wolves rivalry, also found themselves on opposing sides of the net Saturday, with Wagler on the home team and Gipple the visiting squad on the scoreboard.

On the sideline for the guests was Highland head coach Shannon Hills-Copeman.

The home team dropped the first set to the visitors, but rebounded to close things out in the next three straight.
