The Sigourney Savages had another strong season on the volleyball court, finishing second place in the South Iowa Cedar League and reaching the Class 1A Region 5 semifinals. Five players who led the way for Sigourney have been rewarded for their efforts with all-conference honors, including outside hitter Amiya Smallwood as the lone first-team selection. The senior had team highs of 187 kills and 31 serving aces while also piling up 262 digs.

Junior middle blocker Reagan Clarahan is a second-team choice after compiling 134 kills and a team-high 53 blocked shots. Senior Ava Fineran has been named a first-team setter after dishing out a team-high 334 assists and also finishing the season with 18 aces and an even 100 digs. Honorable mentions go to senior Chelsey Pfannebecker and junior Josephine Moore, who helped the Savages go 7-2 in conference play and 17-9 overall.
