After months of preparation and rehearsals, Lone Tree High School students are gearing up to present their fall musical this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

This year the Lions are performing Annie. Senior cast member Katie McCarty, who plays the red-headed title character, explains the classic tale to KCII. “It’s about a little orphan girl who gets taken in by Mr. Warbucks for Christmas and he realizes that he wants to adopt her and she wants to find her real parents.”

As Lone Tree students showcase their singing, dancing, and acting skills, audiences are invited to attend Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, November 12 at 2:30 p.m. Performances will be held in the north gym at Lone Tree High School. Tickets are $15 and are available at the door.
