The City of Riverside is holding a public hearing on Monday night to discuss an application for downtown revitalization funds from the Iowa Economic Development Authority.

Funds in question would be used for facade improvements to buildings in fair or poor condition along West First Street. The discussion will include these proposed needs and how they were identified, application information, and plans to minimize displacement of persons and businesses, among other topics.

The public hearing will be held on Monday, November 13 at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers 60 North Greene Street. After the hearing, the Council will take final action regarding the filing of the application. Translations for non-English speakers can be made available if notice is given to the City beforehand.
