The Columbus Wildcat boys are showing signs of progress on the basketball court. Even with a losing record and only four wins last year, Columbus still had its winningest season in nine years, and while a number of seniors like leading scorer Grant Watson are gone, new head coach Jonathan Chaney has plenty of talent back to get even better this season.

One such important returning piece is six-foot-two-inch senior Tim Hills-Carrier, who showcased his all-around talent last season by averaging nearly eight-and-a-half points, 6.5 rebounds, two assists, 1.5 steals and one blocked shot per game. Junior Ryan Coil and sophomore Gabe Zuniga are also back and will have expanded roles this season for the Wildcats, which tip off a new season November 28th on the road at Lone Tree.
