Washington County Hospital and Clinics is pleased to announce that Lisbeth Whaley, DNP, ARNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC has joined the medical team at WCHC Medical Clinic. Whaley will begin to see patients on November 13, 2023. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Iowa. She has more than 10 years of experience as a registered nurse and is a Certified Emergency Nurse. Whaley also has more than 18 years of military experience; 8 years as an Emergency Trauma Nurse for the United States Air Force Reserve. Her duties include supervising the Medical-Surgical Flight, directing and instructing the Tactical Combat Casualty Care course for over 1100 airmen, serving as the Training Center Faculty for the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course, and delivering high-quality care. She is a dedicated Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and is committed to delivering effective and evidence-based healthcare services. Lisbeth will promote well-being through prevention, education, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders across the life-span.
