Anyone who still needs to pick up a Thanksgiving turkey has an opportunity to get a fresh one, thanks to JC Organic Farm in Kalona.

JC Organic Farm has been owned by Henry Miller since 1987. Specializing in corn and beans, the farm also raises poultry. Miller first started raising turkeys in 1988 with 50 birds, and after continued growth, JC Organic Farm plans to sell over 300 this year. The turkeys are free-range, with no harmful chemicals or antibiotics, and locally sourced. They are pre-packaged and ready for the holiday.
